Global Eyesight – Progressive Softcore Porno.

Usually I would deny it and forget I had ever seen them, but some weird freak thought made me look deeper and bugger off and listen to their music.

Which for once wasn’t a total nightmare of horror.

“Fight the Night” is the first song they have made available. The intro part of the song is waaaaaaaay to fucking long, the lyrics seems to be concerned with the ongoing entropy of modern society and the “Hero’s” fight against it, symbolized by a struggle against the night and the darkness, this is pretty much the oldest story ever made.

Not to bad, a bit repetitive, and the singer sings in the usual boring ultra-soft almost whispering scale.

Next up is “Free with Certainty”, which uses a rather classical musical pattern. Only problem is, that it sure as fucking hell ain’t rock, perhaps Soft Rock, sounds more like standard Pop. The lyrics are the usual crap about emotions, almost a Policy #812, but on the good side of “close”.

“The Beginning”, is actually Soft Rock, which I suppose is a good thing. The lyrics are just about the fear of the future or something in that vague direction.

Ultimately, not a very interesting song, not bad, not good, just delightfully mediocre.

Next up is the last song on their site: “Remain”.

Introoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo takes pretty much the entire history of the Roman Empire from the founding of Rome in 753 BC to May 29, 1453.

Which isn’t that strange, as there are no lyrics. It’s actually pretty good. Very relaxing.

Global Eyesight isn’t as horrid as most of the other useless bastards I’ve been reviewing, but then again, the sound of ten thousand screaming teenagers are better than most of them.

Way to go Global Eyesight, you might actually amount to something delightfully average.
